Cousins! Kim Kardashian is reflecting on the intimate areas of her personal life since ending her nearly ten-year marriage to Kanye West as she admits to jumping into dating Pete Davidson a little too fast!
Appearing in a recently aired episode of ‘The Kardashians,’ Kim explained to her younger sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner that she feels as if dating Pete was a choice she made too soon. “Jumped into another relationship so fast…It got my mind away from stuff, and that’s not a way to run from things.”
The mother of four admitted that their relationship helped ease her mind from the series of events surrounding her divorce but didn’t actually help her heal. “It’s better to deal, heal — that’s a good one — deal, heal, feel.”
Kim and Pete began dating shortly after she hosted an episode of ‘Saturday Night Live’. Though the two were always all smiles while in one another’s presence, their union ultimately became a mocking fest for Kanye. The Chicago native continuously made public attacks toward Pete online and even a music video where he cut a clay version of his head off.
The Skims’ owner previously shared in another episode that she feels guilty that Pete went through a lot because of their relationship.
The former couple dated publicly for about 9 months and decided to end things in August 2022 due to their busy schedules. She also finalized her divorce from Kanye that year.
“I’m not going to take every experience and bad thing that happened to me and carry that into my life. What am I supposed to be learning from this? How is this going to make me a better person?”
Kim and Kanye share four children, North, 10, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4.
