Updated reports confirm that a 71 year old male pleaded guilty in admitting that he left the scene of a hit-and-run that claimed the life of Nick iMinaj’s father!

As we previously reported Charles Polevich fled the scene of the February 2021 accident where he hit Robert Maraj.

It has been stated that Robert was walking in the street within Mineola, Long Island suburb area in the evening when he was struck by a car traveling northbound. The 64 year old later died due to the severity of his injuries.

According to CNN, a Nassau County Judge by the name of Howard Sturim proposed Charles to, “ no ore than one year in jail with community service and license suspension.”

Despite the District Attorney pushing for three years, they state the proposal is disappointing. “Given the severity of the defendant’s conduct, we disagree with the sentencing commitment from the court.”

Charles is due back in court for official sentencing on August 3rd.

He’s absolutely aware of what happened,” Nassau Police Homicide Detective Lt. Stephen Fitzpatrick previously told CNN. “He got out of the car and he looked at the deceased, got into his car and made the conscious decision to leave. Instead of dialing 911, instead of calling an ambulance for the man, he went and went home and secreted his vehicle.”

Cousins how much time you think Charles should’ve actually received?
