COusins!

In a recent interview, Jennifer Lopez gets very candid about her current/ex-flame Ben Affleck and how the public criticism destroyed their relationship in the past!

It has been nearly two decades since the pair were in a relationship, so when news broke that the two had rekindled recently, it was a huge shock to many

According to The Jasmine Brand, in a recent interview, Jennifer shared why the relationship did not work the first time around and how the scrutiny played a part in the destruction of their relationship.

It’s funny because Ben and I were together, and we were so in love. It was one of the happiest times of my life.”

J.Lo continues, “But also, there was this other thing happening where we were being criticized, and it really destroyed our relationship from the inside out, because we were just too young to understand at that time what were really the most important things in life.

While speaking on her relationship with Affleck, she also talks about her career. Despite being a Grammy Award-nominated artist, a Golden Globe Award-nominated actress, and a Humanitarian Award recipient, the “Jenny From The Block” singer, still feels she is the underdog within the career.

I think I’m an underdog. I always feel like I was scraping from the bottom. Always. I always felt like I wasn’t the one that was supposed to be in the room. That’s part of being Puerto Rican and from the Bronx and a woman.

She adds, “You know what I mean? All of that stuff. Not being born into a family with money. Not knowing anybody in the business. I just went out there and said, ‘F*ck it. I’m going to just try. I’m going to try to get in here.’”

Sometimes you have to fall apart to come back together in relationships. It is great to see these two together, and we wish them the very best. Great interview!
