The marathon is surely continuing as Nipsey Hussle fans will soon be able to stream an exclusive visual album experience in honor of his latest project ‘The Marathon’ !

A preview of the project was posted to the late rapper’s personal Instagram account recently as well as his Marathon Clothing account and animator Oki Doki, reports Complex.

“Celebrating the life of an incredible human, the Marathon mixtape, and the first week of #BlackHistoryYear,” reads the caption from Oki Doki post.

Sources have confirmed that the studio was in charge of all visual aspects of the posthumous project.

The Crenshaw native’s estate first announced news of the project back in December 2020 in a statement that reads, “In commemoration of this anniversary we’re proud to announce our collaborative effort with @okidoki to bring to life an interactive live visual album experience coming in 2021.”

“The experience will give viewers [an] intimate look at the era that helped shape this masterpiece. The people, the places, the stories, and more.”

Fans will be able to watch The Marathon Friday, February 5, at 9 p.m. EST on YouTube.
