Gospel Singer BeBe Winans Comes Forward After He, His Mother And Brother Contracted COVID-19!

Beloved Gospel singer #BeBeWinans has recently come forwarded with a life altering testimony after contracting #COVID-19. As he takes his place on the road to recovery share his experience within revealing that his brother and mother have also tested positive for the virus!

BeBe recently appearing on the SiriusXM’s Joe Madison Show to detail his experience while noting how easy it is to transfer the virus from human to human, reports to Essence Magazine.

“Sometimes, for some reason, we as a people when we look in and we look at television and various things that’s going on around us, we somehow say, that can’t happen to me for some reason,” he states. “I don’t know why, but sometimes we believe that, and even myself being cautious, when the outbreak started, I did just a little travel.”

BeBe goes on to say that he believes that he contracted the virus after speaking at a funeral.

“I was actually in New York and I was like, well, I’m going to Detroit because I had a friend pass and we were having a funeral and just that little travel, I caught it.”

He goes on to state that it wasn’t long before he returned home from the trip he began to exhibit multiple symptoms of COVID-19. He then contacted his doctor and reframed from going to the hospital, “if you’re not in need of a respirator they won’t even take you.”

BeBe also reveals that his brother and mother Delores Winans have also contracted the virus. Reports read that his brother was unfortunately hospitalized, “seizure and pneumonia set in,” the singer stated.

“My mom was touched by it for four or five days.”

BeBe closes the conversation by highlighting the fact that he learned a lesson he’ll never forget and that he is taking good care of his health from here on out.

“I’m just concrete in the subject matter that God is greater than everything. Yet, and still, it’s so important for us to use common sense,” he said of being cautious while the nation battles the coronavirus. “I’m just concrete in the subject matter that God is greater than everything. “I was just saying, God, I thank you. I thank you because it could have been a different outcome for me and my family. So, I’ve learned to be more grateful for life itself,” BeBe concludes. “Forget about homes and automobiles and all these things. You can’t take none of that. That means nothing to you when your health is gone.”
