On the latest episode of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, friends-turned-enimies Yandy Smith and Rasheeda Frost went head to head in a long overdue sit-down!
THE SIT-DOWN WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR
Yandy wasted no time addressing what’s been simmering for seasons: trust issues, loyalty questions, and rumors of betrayl. While barely allowing one another to get their point across before popping off—Rasheeda showed no signs backing down. The exchange got heated as both women laid out their sides, forcing the conversation that’s been hanging in the air for years.
Clips from the episode show Yandy addressing Rasheeda directly about rumors she’s been swirling through their mutual friend groups regarding her marriage and personal issues. However Rasheeda defended her actions and intentions stating that she was telling the truth and only answered questions she was asked while on a podcast.
Though it is unclear where Yandy and Rasheeda’s issues originally stem from, it is apparent that both women have become territorial of the Love and Hip Hop franchise as well as the city of Atlanta.

“Soooo we started @loveandhiphop LOVE & HIP HOP ATLANTA IN 2012. Let me take you back to where I was and what I was talking about in 2012,” wrote Yandy on Instagram Tuesday September 9th.
“A little history lesson for those that ARE CONFUSED 🤷🏾♀️🤯🤯🤯🤣. Found this old clip of @monascottyoung…so crazy her story is the exact same as mine. Oh and thanks for seeing the potential in me so early Mona @monascottyoung 😘”
SOCIAL MEDIA WEIGHING IN 💬
Viewers quickly took to social media, with many saying this was one of the “realest” moments in ATL franchise history.
Twitter and Instagram were lit up with reactions:
“Yandy said what needed to be said!”
“Rasheeda wasn’t ready for all that smoke.”
“This is classic Love & Hip Hop drama!”“Idc what they saying, YANDY and JIM were love and hip hop.., that’s why their show was called LOVE AND HIPHOP before the other cities were added. Good day 😂”
“Yandy is love and hip hop without atlanta miami la would not have been i cant give her credit for new york only because Jimmy”
WHAT’S NEXT FOR THEIR FRIENDSHIP?
While the sit-down was explosive, it also raised questions: Is there room for healing? Or has this feud gone too far? One thing’s clear—this confrontation has officially set the tone for the rest of the season, and fans will be watching every move. As two long-time cast members of the Love and Hip Hop franchise, it is truly unfortunate to see successful Black women at odds end.
