Chloe Bailey is directly addressing the chitter- chatter surrounding her latest performance as folks allege that she is currently expecting a little one of her own!
“No, I’m not pregnant. It’s the dress.” Chloe confirmed, “That’s just how it looks. I’m not pregnant, it’s just that thick.”
The 26-year-old songstress appeared in a puffy black, flowing dress at the time, which fans misinterpreted as being a maternity-style gown. Seeming both unbothered and annoyed by the comment she added, “Get a grip. It’s called fashion.”
Chloe further clarified that she wasn’t bothered by fans asking if she was expecting. “I don’t blame y’all. You’re just inquiring. I don’t really care.”
According to reports from WBLS, rumors began to swirl online following her appearances at the 2024 Fashion Awards in London. Chloe hit the stage for the first time in a while alongside her sister and fellow singer Halle Bailey.
Halle welcomed a son, Halo in December 2023 with her partner DDG.
Earlier this year Halle recalled Chloe’s initial reaction when she shared that she was pregnant.
“I think she didn’t believe me. She thought I was joking,” Halle revealed.
Chloe’s openly embraces her role as an aunt, while sharing the societal pressures she often faces of having a baby of her own.
“I have the best of both worlds right now. I can have a little more time because I have the best nephew.”
