Cousins! Ice Spice is officially publicly addressing her feud with Latto as she explains what was supposed to be a fun exchange of words has turned into something a lot deeper than she expected!

While in an interview for the cover of Rolling Stone, Ice explained that neither she nor Latto have a real issue with one another. “I feel like if we ever spoke and I asked her, ‘What’s the issue?’ it’d be like a blank stare. It’d really be no issue whatsoever. Especially from me.”

The 24-year-old says that things got weird for her when their exchange of words went from making music to celebrating pivotal moments with doo-doo cakes as a jab toward her.

“I can understand a friendly competition, but I just feel like at this point it’s a joke that she’s just dragged out, and it’s just not even funny. Like, bro, ‘Think U the Shit’ is from January,” Ice says.

As we previously reported, one of Latto’s friends purchased a cake with an enlarged ca-ca emoji to celebrate her headling a radio station’s Birthday Bash event. The Atlanta rapper shared a photo of the cake with a caption that read, “Think I’m the sht, btch ?????”

Though she never publicly commented on the cake, Ice addressed it with Rolling Stone to say, “You’re going to post a piece of sh*t cake to announce something that’s good news for you? But it is kind of a compliment because you’re taking something that’s supposed to be a fun moment for you and you’re making it about me … again.”

Latto also addressed her feud with Ice in a recent issue of Billboard magazine. When asked if she would ever be interested in going head to head with Ice in a rap battle she said  “If I was to do [a battle], it would have to be with somebody I feel like Imma go tit for tat with. I really don’t mean it as shade. Would she even want to do that?”

She continued “I feel like she’s doing her in her lane. It’s two different types of vibes. I don’t even think she gives me like, ‘Oh, she wants to engage in an actual rap beef.’ Everybody gon’ take their lil jabs in the music, and it’s not even that serious to me; I feel like you should do that. Continue to! But as far as actual whole diss records to each other, I don’t think she would even want to do that. I feel like… would it even make sense? It wouldn’t.”

As for rap beef with fellow femcees, Ice reveals that she is uninterested as she believes there is enough room and opportunity for all ladies to gain success.

“I just feel like that narrative is so dead,” she says.

“There are so many rap girls that have just done so many big things simultaneously. It’s not like one or the other. There’s so many different flavors to choose from now.”
