Cousins, congratulations are most definitely in order for the multi-hyphenated queen Keke Palmer following news of her historic Emmy award win!
According to Deadline, KeKe won an Emmy for Outstanding Host for a Game Show for NBC’s Password.
“Wow. That is so exciting, thank you so much,” said Keke within her acceptance speech at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. “I’m really just so thankful, I’m almost speechless. I want to thank the people who allowed this to happen, thank you to Jimmy Fallon, thank you to NBC.”
Reports read that this year marks the first time the category has been included in the Primetime Emmys after previously being shifted from the Daytime awards.
“Couldn’t do it without you @jimmyfallon!” Keke wrote on Instagram. “I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be apart [sic] of such a classic game show such as Password. It’s a true honor, I won! I’m excited, BOOTS! Thank you to the @televisionacad ✨.”
According to US Weekly, Keke became the host of the rebooted NBC game show back in 2022 with Jimmy listed as an executive producer on the series.
