Cousins! The upcoming season of BMF on Starz is coming in hot following exciting news that a few familiar faces are set to make special guest appearances!
Saweetie, Cynthia Bailey, and Lil Baby will join previously announced guest stars Ne-Yo and 2 Chainz for the third season of BMF.
According to reports from Deadline Lil Baby is set to make his acting debut as a determined foot soldier named Payne. Saweetie will play a former college athlete named Keeya who is currently on the streets. Cynthia is set to take on the role of Gloria, the ex-wife of Detective Bryant who is currently dealing with her son’s ongoing legal battle.
“BMF continues the storyline of the inspiring true legends of brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory (Demetrius Flenory, Jr.) and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory (Da’Vinchi), who fostered one of the most influential crime families in the country known as Black Mafia Family,” reads a press release from Starz.
Season three kicks off with Meech migrating to Atlanta as he plans to expand the BMF empire in the south that he and Terry built up in Detroit. Meech hopes to climb to the top of the drug game in Atlanta.
Meanwhile, Terry remains in Detroit to oversee their business endeavors. Their parents Charles Flenory and Lucille Flenory continue to work on their rocky marriage.
Detective Bryant and Detective Jinae are set to return as partners on opposing sides of the law in their mutual quest to dismantle the Black Mafia family.
BMF is executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson through his G-Unit Film and Television, alongside creator, executive producer, and Detroit native Randy Huggins with showrunner and executive producer Heather Zuhlke, reports Deadline.
The drama series is produced through 50 Cent’s G-Unit Film and Television in association with Lionsgate Television for Starz.
