Cousins, Darius Jackson is seeking protection against his former girlfriend #KekePalmer as he has recently filed for a domestic violence order against the actress!
According to PEOPLE, Darius filed a petition earlier this week while also requesting that Keke not be allowed to contact him and to also stay 100 feet from his home and vehicle.
The 29-year-old is requesting for their upcoming hearing to be scheduled next month January 9th and to be handled “concurrently” with Keke’s domestic violence restraining order request.
Within court documents obtained by the outlet, Darius detailed several alleged instances where he claimed Keke had, “engaged in abusive conduct during the two-and-a-half-year relationship.” He claims to have undergone both “physical and verbal abuse.”
Darius alleges that Keke had punched him, choked him, and hit him, as well as one day when she allegedly “called him over 200 times and sent him over 50 emails.”
He claims that back in March of 2022 he had changed his phone number “to avoid further harassment and threats.” Within the issued filing Darius says that Keke allegedly often “became agitated and aggressive after consuming alcohol”
Darius has also requested “joint legal and physical custody” of their son Leo. He states that Keke has “unilaterally eliminated any and all access” to Leo.
As we previously reported Keke was granted a temporary restraining order against Darius as well as sole custody of their 9-month-old son back in November.
The 30-year-old issued claims that Darius trespassed into her home on Nov. 5, and “threatened me, then physically attacked me — lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone when I told him I was going to call the police.” Keke says that Darius abused her throughout their a two-year relationship, and that her bother her mother and sister witnessed it.
