Alex Trebek’s Wardrobe Donated To Nonprofit Organizations Affiliated With Workforce Centers!

The family of the late Alex Trebek alongside the folks of Jeopardy have teamed up to donate his wardrobe to charity organizations affiliated with people interested in entering the workforce!

From shoes, suits, ties and all kinds of professional attire the long time host’s clothing will help individuals seeking employment.

“Jeopardy! and Alex’s family have donated a large portion of our late host’s wardrobe to @TheDoeFund, an organization that provides paid work, housing, and training to underserved Americans with histories of addiction, homelessness, and incarceration,” reads a tweet from the show last week Tuesday.

According to The Hill the forwarded donation consists of 14 suits, 58 dress shirts, 300 neckties, 25 polo shirts, 14 sweaters, nine sports coats, nine pairs of dress shoes and much more.

“We live in a world where dressing appropriately can make a difference in how one feels about themselves and how one is perceived. Even though I know that it’s not all about what someone wears, there is something to be said for feeling a bit better about yourself when you have pride in your attire,”reads a forwarded statement from Alex’s son Matthew Trebek.

“My hope is that the confidence someone might feel in wearing one of my dad’s suits and ties will help them land a job, and more importantly, will help them realize that they are not alone.”
