Monica Confirms To Fans That She And C-Murder Have Split, “I went through it, got over it, now I can laugh about it.”

Cousins! Monica Denise is giving fans an update on her love life as she officially confirms her split from C-Murder!

A month after going public with her new man fans have been consistent in asking whether or not she and the No Limit rapper are still together. On Monday Monica finally addressed fans’ concerns by revealing that things didn’t work out between them.

“ I got my heartbroken (again) and that’s ok! I learned yet another valuable lesson,” wrote the Grammy award-winning singer. “I went through it, got over it, now I can laugh about it.”

The 43-year-old says that she has moved on and encourages fans to do the same. “Life continues! I feel great that through it, he has representation to one day be free! Let’s move forward!”

Word began the circulate back in October of Monica dating Chris Brown’s manager Anthony Wilson after he posted a photo of them on her birthday.”Happy birthday babe,” read the caption.

“Thank You my love, You’ve treated me like everyday was my birthday,” Monica replied.

C-Murder is currently serving out a life sentence for his alleged role in a fatal 2002 shooting that claimed the life of 16-year-old Steve Thomas.

According to The Source, the 52-year-old has repeatedly attempted to have his murder conviction overturned, along with evidence he was innocent in regard to scrapped DNA. However, C-Murder’s appeal was denied last week by a federal judge confirms The Source.
