Erykah Badu Suggests That She Inspired A Look From Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour, “ I Guess I’m Everyone’s Stylist”

Cousins! Erykah Badu tossed a bit of shade Beyonce‘s way seemingly suggesting that she inspired one of the fellow Texas native’s recently debuted Renaissance World Tour looks surrounding headwear!

Beyoncé debuted a new look for fans during her tour stop in Rutherford, New Jersey over the weekend that is the talk of the town. The 32x Grammy award-winning songstress took the stage sporting a Blue and Orange IV printed Jersey paired with camouflage thigh-high boots and a metallic wide-brim hat. The following day Beyonce shared images of her fits from Saturday’s show on Instagram for her fans to enjoy.

As thousands of social media users poured into Bey’s comments section dishing compliments and heart-eyed emoji Erykah appeared to be skeptical as she wrote, “Hmmmm.” But it didn’t end there as Erykah also posted a picture of herself in her Instagram stories wearing a fairly similar large-brim metallic hat. “I guess I’m everyone’s stylist. favorite chrome mirror hat,” she wrote.

Following Erykah’s noticeable shade, Twitter users chimed in immediately questioning her issue with Bey, seeing how large-brim hats are most definitely a thing in their hometown of Texas. Not to mention Bey has been sporting those same styled hats during her shows since 2016 when she dropped her hit single Formation.
