Cousins! It is with a sincerely heavy heart that we inform you all that rising star and ‘Euphoria’ actor Angus Cloud has passed away at the age of 25 years old!
According to TMZ, Angus passed away at his family’s home within Oakland California. In a forwarded statement his family shares that he’d been struggling to cope with the recent passing of his father. “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.”
“Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”
Angus’ family adds, “We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.”
Though minimal details have been provided following his passing, TMZ reports that Oakland Police and Fire Departmenr had responded to a 911 call on Monday around 11:30AM made by Angus mother.
It has been stated that his mother reported a “possible overdose,” and said that he didn’t have a pulse. The outlet declares that Angus was pronounced dead on the scene.
According to a source close to the family, Angus had been battling extreme suicide Al thoughts ever since he returned from Ireland where his father’s funeral was held. It has been indicated that he has been staying with his close relatives in efforts of coming to terms with grief.
