Cousins! Congratulations are in order for actress Naturi-Naughton Lewis and her husband Xavier ‘Two’ Lewis as the couple recently welcomed their baby boy into the world!
Nature took to her verified Instagram page on Monday with a photo of her son’s feet and hand gently grasping her finger. The images were exclusively shared with BET as she announced the birth of her baby boy, named after his father Tru Xavier Naughton.
Reports confirm that baby Tru was born May 27, weighing in at 6 lbs., 12 ounces, and 20 inches long.
Naturi’s household has grown by two as they are officially a party of five. The 39-year-old is also a mother to her five-year-old daughter Zhuri from a previous relationship.
It has been indicated that Naturi learned of her pregnancy while on set shooting a movie. She previously shared that since this was her husband’s official introduction to fatherhood she wanted to make it extremely special.
“When I found out, I was shooting a movie and still on a high from my wedding, so it felt like the perfect way to start a new chapter with my hubby! I wrapped my two pregnancy tests in pretty tissue paper and put it in a cute little gift bag and told him I had a belated birthday gift for him,” Naughton detailed to BET. “It was such a special moment.”
Prior to the her son’s birth, the former 3LW member says that she wanted to make sure her husband’s journey to fatherhood was fulfilled with love and purpose. “We look forward to bonding in a new way. This is Two’s first baby, so he’s extra excited to create another human,” said Naruto to PEOPLE. “We want to push ourselves to be the best partners and the best parents we can be!”
The couple met through her fellow Power TV costar Omari Hardwick who is also managed by Two. Naturi and Two tied the knot back in 2022 in a beautiful ceremony in Atlanta.
