Cousins! Word on the street is there’s a new couple on the block and it’s caught social media users fully by surprise!
Kelis’ milkshake has brought a new man to her yard and it’s a familiar face to many as he’s appeared in numerous films and television series within the last five decades. According to reports from the Sun, dating rumors have begun to circulate about Kelis and Bill Murray as the two have been spotted spending a lot of time together.
It has been indicated that Bill was front and center as Kelis performed at the Hoopla festival in South London last weekend and that he was also at a few other shows of hers. Reports read that source close to the pair has stated the two have been getting close for some time.
“They’ve met up in the States before which got people in the industry talking, and now are meeting up in London while they’re both here. They’ve clearly hit it off.”
As per The Sun, a friend tells the outlet, “They were both seen at the same hotel, and he’s been to watch her perform several times before he went to Mighty Hoopla
“But they’ve also both shared relatively recent bereavements and have that common bond between them.
They add, “Whatever it is that has brought them together, and however unlikely it seems, they are both single and are having fun despite the fairly big age gap.”
Throughout Kelis’s career, she was previously married to legendary rapper Nas; together they share a son named Knight. The two wed in 2005 and were divorced in 2010 as Kelis filed for divorce in 2009 after she accused him of emotionally and physically abusing her. “It was really dark. A lot of drinking,” she stated in an interview with Hollywood Unlocked in 2020.
“A lot of mental and physical abuse and it got to the point where if I wasn’t pregnant, I might have stayed with him. I really did love him. We were married — we weren’t dating, we were married, this was my person.”
In 2014 Kelis married Mike Mora, together they share two children: a son named Shepherd, 8, and a daughter named Galilee, 2. The late photographer sadly passed away in March 2022 after a battle with stage 4 stomach cancer. He was only thirty-seven years old at the time.
