Angela Basset’s 16 Year Old Son Issues An Apology After Posting Viral Tik Tok Prank Claiming That Michael B. Jordan Had Passed Away!

Cousins! Iconic actress Angela Bassett made sure her 16 year old son Slater Vance kept the same energy in issuing an apology on social media as he did when participating in a viral TikTok prank!

In a since deleted video he shook up both his mother and father Courtney B. Vance as he claimed fellow ‘Black Panther’ cast member Michael B. Jordan had passed away at 35 years old. Immediately screaming “No,” Angela grabbed the phone to view what the teen was seeing.

Though the video cut off with Slater laughing we can imagine Angela found the instance anything but funny. Despite the video being taken down the clip has already gone viral with social media users chiming in with their own thoughts.

“ That TikTok of someone (maybe her son) telling Angela Basset that a co star of hers died.. it’s not funny. I don’t know what goes on in a person’s head to joke about someone dying. Especially after losing Chadwick. This new generation…🙄🙄🙄,” said one Twitter user.

“I thought Angela Basset was trending because she was seen looking fine as hell and it’s because her son playing a cruel ass prank on her. Wth,” said another social media user.

Slater later returned to social media with teary eyes as he issued an apology to Michael’s family, friends and fans.

“I would sincerely like to apologize to Michael B. Jordan’s entire family, his extended family, and him directly as he is an idol of mine,” said Slater”

Taking part in a trend like this is completely disrespectful. I don’t wish any bad ramifications of this of my actions upon his family nor my parents as they deserve none of the backlash.”

Slater had panticipated within the circulated Tik Tok trend where users prank their parents in lying about different celebrity deaths and recording their reactions.
