Cousins! Summer Walker is officially a mother of three after welcoming a set of twins over the weekend!
In a lengthy transparent post about at home birth the 26 year old shared her experience in detail with her fans while also declaring that giving birth at an hospital is okay too but is not something she wanted to do.
“I’m so proud of myself. I’m so proud of myself,” Summer about her birthing experience. “Just sharing to inspire other women ’cause I know once you carry twins to almost 42 weeks with (one breech), people will try and steer you towards induction or c-section (which there’s nothing wrong with these. I just didn’t want it for myself.”
“You can do it; this was my second home birth. All natural. 7hrs, no tearing and I couldn’t of done it without my spirit guides, Godparents, birth team, my elders, and the best Dad doula ever Larry lol. He was so hands-on the whole time. I was really impressed.”
She also took to social media a few days after welcoming her latest bundles of joy in revealing that it was a personal goal of hers to have all of her children before turning 30 years old.
As we previously reported iconic songstress Erykah Badu had revealed that she was also one of Summer’s appointed Doulas.
Prior to the ‘Still Over It’ singer giving birth, Erykah had shared on social media that her eldest daughter Puma would be shadowing her as she was expected to help delver a set of twins soon. However she’s never confirmed that it was Summer who had been expecting twins.
Summer says that she is happy and that all three of her babies are the sweetest 🏿
