Cousins! The artist formerly known as Kanye West has officially written a check his mouth can’t cash following a antisemitism statement on social media over the weekend!

Last week Ye made headlines for numerous occurrences ranging from wearing a ‘white lives matter shirt’ , continuous claimed issues with Adidas to him sharing screen shot messages between him and fellow celebrities.

His latest social media rant took place on Saturday as Kanye tweeted from his verified Twitter account “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death [sic] con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE … The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because Black people are actually Jew also… You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”

A spokesperson from Twitter tells CNN that Kanye’s account has been locked for violating their policies. The now viral tweet has been replaced with a message from the platform stating, “This tweet violated the Twitter Rules.”

Numerous celebrities have poured in with comments since the incident sharing their outrage such as John Legend and more.

Actress Jamie Lee Curtis issued a statement while appearing on the ‘TODAY’ show on Monday morning, “I woke up and I burst into tears. What are you doing? It’s bad enough that fascism is on the rise around the world, but on Twitter? On a portal to pour that in, as if Jewish people haven’t had it hard enough?… As if Asian people haven’t had enough. I mean, it was just abhorrent.”

She continued, “I woke up and… I thought [about] my grandparents,” Curtis replied. “It’s just abhorrent behavior, I hope he gets help. I hope his children get help from him. It’s terrible. And if we weren’t reacting, who are we? What does it say about people who aren’t reacting?”

According to Yahoo news the Black-Jewish Entertainment Alliance (BJEA) has also issued a statement in response to Kanye’s controversial tweet:

“Ye’s recent statements about the Jewish community are hurtful, offensive, and wrong. They perpetuate stereotypes that have been the basis for discrimination and violence against Jews for thousands of years. Words like this tear at the fabric of the Black-Jewish relationship.”

The Black and Jewish communities must stand together through incidents like this to make clear that trafficking in hateful stereotypes is unacceptable – and that the words of one entertainer do not reflect the views of an entire community.”

Despite being silenced on both Twitter and Instagram, the father of four took to YouTube on Monday to release a new blog post titled ‘Last Week’’ . Within the 30 minute documentary Ye samples a new song along with the lyrics, “You a fake b**** / You don’t really love Ye, go listen to Drake, b**** / You don’t have no idea what it take, b**** / Go listen to Lil Baby, go listen to Future, b****.”

The video also shows Kanye in a meeting with estranged partners of Adidas where he seemingly shows a pornographic video to the company. It has been stated that he showed the video in efforts of making the execs feel “extreme discomfort,” similar to his feelings in believes Adidas reportedly stole his ideas.

In recent updates Adidas announced their partnership with the rapper is currently under review and that his Gap deal was terminated on Sept. 15.
