According to the New York Times, the tragic news of LaTisha’s passing was shared with them by her sister Afesha Chong.
LaTisha is very well respected within the entertainment industry as she has created timeless looks for Tracee Ellis Ross, Ziwe, Rico Nasty, Tiffany Pollard , high profile models and more.
Her latest project was styling Serena Williams hair for the September 2022 cover of Vogue magazine.
The young talent was heavily influenced by her mother as a child while working at her her hair salon. LaTisha is said to have also worked in the U.S Air Force but was later diagnosed with breast cancer. She received an honorary medical discharge back in 2014 reports the Daily Mail.
LaTisha passed away on July 19th in Manhattan within a hospital.
