It appears that the cast of Euphoria will be missing one of their OGs in the highly anticipated upcoming season, as actress Barbie Ferreira confirms her exit!
Known for her role of Katherine Hernandez, Barbie took to social media Wednesday evening to write, “After four years of getting to embody the most special and enigmatic character Kat, I’m having to say a very teary-eyed goodbye.”
She continues, “I hope many of you could see yourself in her like I did and that she brought you joy to see her journey into the character she is today. I put all my care and love into her and I hope you guys could feel it. Love you Katherine Hernandez.”
Though she didn’t provide any reasoning behind her exit, reports from Deadline indicate that there had been rumored tension on set between Barbie and series creator Sam Levinson.
Though the claims were denied folks believe their feud was the cause of her having less camera time in season two in comparison to season 1.
