Bronx Neighborhood Left Shook After A Dollar Store Employee Is Jumped By A Duo Of Robbers!

A Bronx neighborhood has been left a bit shaken after a young dollar store employee was confronted by an unidentified man and woman in the midst of a robbery!

According to Pix 11 News, surveillance footage from the store shows the 23-year-old worker being place in a chokehold after she approached the two suspects earlier this month.

Officials state that even after the physical altercation the woman stayed the remainder of her shift for she is the store’s assistant manager.

Reports read that the incident took place  at 1227 Webster Avenue near Concourse earlier this month on Aug. 14, around 3:30 p.m. It has been stated the employee noticed the suspects walking out without paying for a series of items and that’s when she approached them. It wasn’t long before things got physical.

Police state that the two suspects fled the location along with the stolen merchandise and have yet to be arrested. The young female employee is said to have sustained minor injuries and was treated by EMS on the scene.

Police described the female as approximately 5-foot-6, 220 pounds, heavy build with long black hair in braids. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black pants, and black Adidas sandals.

The male suspect is approximately 5-foot-4, with a slim build, bald head, and gray facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat with a blue rim, a black t-shirt with a white Adidas logo on the front, black pants with white stripes on the legs, and white sneakers.
