According to TMZ Max passed away on New Year’s Day and was found by his wife Arabella. His cause of death has not been revealed at this time.

Max will forever be celebrated for his iconic role as Goldie in the 70’s Blaxploitation film “The Mack”

His team has forwarded an official statement to following the tragic news, “During Julien’s decades-long career, he was known for being bold, honest and straightforward. He would live and speak his own truth both professionally and privately. He was thought of as a rare man among men.’”
