A trial date has officially been set within the NipseyHussle murder case for January 5th, 2022!
The news was announced on Wednesday reports Fox News after the trial had been pushed back numerous times due to the pandemic.
As we previously reported Eric Holder, 31 was officially indicted in 2019 on one count each of murder and possession of a firearm by a felon and two counts each of attempted murder and assault with a firearm involving the death of Nipsey.
The prosecution team states that Eric had walked up to a group of people that included Nip on March. 31st, 2019 and let off multiple shots shortly after a discussion that involved allegations of snitching.
“….. had something to do with Mr. Asghedom accusing Mr. Holder of of snitching, which, in the gang world, is a very serious offense.”
Prosecution statement continues, “”Apparently the conversation had something to do with Mr. Asghedom telling Mr. Holder that word on the street was that Mr. Holder was snitching. The conversation wasn’t particularly intense, it wasn’t particularly belligerent, and it lasted for about four minutes. Enough that it moved Eric Holder to a point of wanting to return to the parking lot and kill Nipsey Hussle.“
The Deputy Medical Examiner on the case confirms that Nipsey suffered from a total of 11 bullet wounds.
Holder was arrested on April. 2nd, 2019 and has been in police custody since.
