As we all know NBA legendary athlete Shaquille O’Neal is well known for his extremely long track record of committing good deeds throughout his lifetime. His good spirit and genuine heart have changed the lives of many as he’s now currently trending on social media for paying in full for a random customer’s engagement ring for his girlfriend!

Shaq was seen on video recently completing an act of kindness for a young man inside an Atlanta Zales jewelry store.

Reports read that the former Los Angeles Laker went into the store where he’s noted as a regular to purchase a pair of hoop earrings when he noticed a guy buying an engagement ring.

He then decided to buy it for him and snapped a pic with the guy following completion of the purchase.

Shaq discussed the story this week on The NBA on TNT postgame squad. He states, “I went in there to get some loop earrings and I seen the guy and he was just so shy and he was saying [to the cashier], ‘Hey, how much do I owe to pay off the ring?’ I said, ‘My man, how much is the ring?’

He also revealed that he does things of this sort often, “is just something I do everyday.”

“I’m into making people happy, so whenever I leave the house I just try and do a good deed. I didn’t mean for that to get out. That’s not why I do it. .. The guy just came in, he was a young kid, hardworking guy.”

“I was like, you know what, ‘Tell your girlfriend I got it, I’ll take care of it. At first he didn’t want to take it,” Shaw recalled, later adding, “I’m just trying to make people smile, that’s all.”
