The popular 2000’s comedy series depicting the life of legendary comedian Chris Rock, ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ is set to make its way back onto our television screens as a confirmed reboot with CBS Studios is underway!
According to the Hollywood Reporter, CBS Studios is currently developing an animated re-imaging of the live action series.
Sources have confirmed that Chris Rock will return as the show’s narrator. However there’s been no word of any of the series original cast members being casted.
‘Everybody Hates Chris’ aired in 2005 staring Tyler James Williams as young Chris, Terry Crews as Chris’ father Julius, and Tichina Arnold as Chris’ mother Rochelle, including Tequan Richmond and Imani Hakim as Chris siblings.
The series originally aired on UPN until 2006 after swapping over to the CW network until it wrapped up officially in 2009.
No details have been forwarded as to when the reboot will be released as of yet. The show’s original co-creators Chris Rock and Ali LeRoi will soon began to shop the series around to potential buyers.
