It has been well over four months since the unjustified and inhumane killing of Louisville EMT #BreonnaTaylor, at the hands of local police. Though the officers responsible haven’t been arrested for her murder, recently released reports have provided further more details of the night in question!
Following over 20 released bullets and a total of five striking Breonna by police officials, it has now been confirmed that she was ultimately alive after the March 13th incident.
According to the Courie Journal, Breonna coughed heavily as she struggled to breathe for roughly 5-6 minutes confirms her boyfriend Kenneth Walker.
Kenneth states that she was alive after the shooting as he called her mother and yelled for help. He has told investigators within a recorded interview a few hours after the incident “(Police are) yelling like, ‘Come out, come out,’ and I’m on the phone with her (mom). I’m still yelling help because she’s over here coughing and, like, I’m just freaking out.”
Sources have indicated that no effort was set forward to save Breonna’s life. Reports show that for more than 20 minutes after being shot she laid in her hallway receiving no medical attention.
“Breonna, who was unarmed in her hallway, was struck by several rounds of gunfire. She was not killed immediately,” states Breonna’s family attorneys Sam Aguiar and Lonita Baker within a revised filed lawsuit.
“Rather, she lived for another five to six minutes before ultimately succumbing to her injuries on the floor of her home.”
Jefferson County corner has come forward to state that the reports aren’t true and that Breonna died within a minute after being shot and could not have been saved.
