#Cousins ; please join us as we send a multitude of prayers and our most sincere condolences to the family of a 10 year girl recently killed due to a school bus driver’s failure to yield at an intersection in Brooklyn, New York.
Fourth grade student #PatienceAlbert was struck by an oncoming school bus in East New York Tuesday morning while walking to school with her older brother Merzae, 15 reports the New York Post.

“We fought sometimes but I loved her and I just wish she was still here,” said Patience’s brother, states Mezare. “Any other brother and sisters out there, protect your sister and be careful.” Merzae now suffers from a fractured leg and is currently using crutches.
It has been noted that the Crescent Street and Wortman Avenue intersection accident took place where there were numerous stops signs present.
Sources have confirmed that Albert’s parents Tyrone Albert and Tasheema Robinson, are deeply distraught by the horrific turn of events. The two broke down in tears while attempting to speak during Albert’s memorial within radius of where the accident occurred.
“I need to breathe; I need to breathe,” Tyrone repeated emotionally. He later stated that, “Nobody should have to go through this. “This is the worst pain in the world.”

Pedro Colon, 61 was arrested on the scene in result of the incident. Police officials state that he was driving the bus when he made a turn on Wortman Avenue from Crescent when he collided into both Patience and Mezare.
Colon has been charged with failing to yield a pedestrian and failure to exercise due care. He has been suspended effective immediately pending an investigation by the NYPD.
Patience is remembered as being an excellent student, both smart and funny states her loved ones.
