#FoxNews reports that Marquis had passed away Saturday evening around 7PM at the Charlton-Methodist Hospital located in Dallas, #Texas. Sources have confirmed that he was hospitalized late Friday night.
A spokesman for the Jefferson family, Bruce Carter has come forward to state that Marquis has been enduring a heavy amount of stress since the recent murder of his daughter at the hands of Texas officials.
Reports read that Marquis was also in the midst of a legal battle with Atatiana’s mother’s side of the family upon allegations of them forwarding funeral arrangements without his knowledge. He even obtained a temporary restraining order against the family until official funeral arrangements were finalized. Marquis also forwarded a cease and desist form closing all go fund me pages within his daughters name.
Carter states that Marquis had no prior health scares or issues despite his long battle with pulmonary disease. The cause of his death is unknown at this time.
