Cousins!
It appears Will Smith is still on the receiving end of his infamous Oscar slap as the rapper turned actor projects are being both delayed and canceled.
According to Yahoo! Disney is rescheduling its latest National Geographic nature documentary with the academy award winning actor.
Sources confirm that the “Pole to Pole” documentary was set to portray Will’s trip from the North to South Pole.
The production of the nature documentary was to begin within three weeks, however it has now been pushed back to later this year in the fall. Sources confirm that Will’s production company Westbrook has a five-year first-look deal for unscripted content at Disney.
Unfortunately, there is more bad news: Bright 2, the sequel to his sci-fi/fantasy film partnered with Netflix, has officially been canceled.
Despite getting bad reviews for the series plot it has been stated that it was an overall hit for Netflix.
Cousins, do you guys think these companies are over doing it for delaying and canceling Will projects? What are your thoughts?
