Noir Nation, the internet has been on Marlon Wayans’ neck all week — and now the comedian is speaking out loud and clear.

After sharing his thoughts on “Sean Combs: The Reckoning,” Marlon was immediately accused of defending or supporting Diddy, sparking a wave of backlash across social media. Users claimed he was trying to soften the narrative around the Bad Boy mogul, despite the serious allegations highlighted in the docuseries.

But according to Marlon, that’s not what happened at all.

While appearing on The Cruz show, Marlon shared his opinion on 50 and Diddy’s long-standing feud while also pinpointing a lesson regarding karma.

“50 and Puff have a long-term beef. It’s personal”.

“It’s between him and Puff. And before it’s between him and Puff, it’s between both of them and God. Just the way Puff is down on his luck, and 50 is kicking a man when he’s down. If…luck turn on 50, you know that you got to be careful what you put out. There’s a karma to every action that you do.”

The comedian says he was simply asked for his opinion about the documentary and had no intention of supporting or excusing anyone’s behavior. He made it clear that offering commentary does not equal taking sides.

Despite his intentions, his comments didn’t go over well with social media users.

Meanwhile, Marlon continues going post-for-post with 50 Cent, who has been heavily pushing and promoting the docuseries since its release. Their back-and-forth has been part serious, part comedic but definitely viral as each man responds to the other’s jabs.

Marlon insists people are twisting his words online, saying he was giving his honest perspective, not defending Combs. He also emphasized that the real focus should be the stories shared in the documentary, not internet drama over opinions taken out of context.
