According to reports from PEOPLE, Chadwick has been recognized as the 2,828th entertainer to receive a star,securing his legacy as one of the most influential actors of his generation. His widow, Simone Ledward-Boseman, accepted the honor on his behalf.

“The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is deeply honored to celebrate Chadwick Boseman’s extraordinary legacy with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” Ana Martinez, Hollywood Walk of Fame producer, said in a statement, per Billboard. “His powerful performances and enduring impact both on and off screen continue to inspire generations around the world.”
