After Cassie announced her first pregnancy back in 2020, Diddy allegedly slid in with a message that read:
“Congratulations Cass I truly am happy for you, you’re going to make a beautiful mother god bless,” Diddy wrote in a text her, according to messages read aloud in court—-Cassie testified she was pregnant at this time, reports CNN.
“Thank you God bless,”wrote Cassie.
The convo didn’t stop there. According to court testimony, the two exchanged a few warm words, briefly reminiscing on their past and what they once shared. Despite the headlines and accusations that have since surfaced, the exchange revealed a softer, more sentimental moment between the two.
Thank you so much for responding, it really means a lot more than you know,” Diddy responded. “Sending you nothing but love and light always. Please know I’m always here if you need me.”
Cassie admitted they were “once really close,” and that she never hated him.
Diddy responded in part by saying:
- “Tears of joy I don’t even know what to say.”
- “I hope you can forgive me.”
- “We’re honestly lucky to be alive. God was watching over us.”

“Were there periods during which Sean was kind and loving?” Prosecutor Emily Johnson asked. Cassie testified that there were.
“Did those periods ever last?” Johnson asked.
“No,” Cassie responded, adding, “When Sean wasn’t happy anymore, it affected everybody around him.”
