Luka Sabbat Says He’s Banned from the Met Gala—and It All Started with a Cigarette Flick!

Actor and fashion It-boy Luka Sabbat says he’s been iced out of the Met Gala ever since he lit a cigarette and snapped a now-infamous bathroom selfie back in 2019!

“Yes l’m still banned from the met lol,” wrote the former Grown-ish actor when asked if he’s still banned from the Met Gala. Apparently the flick-and-click costed him any future invites.

Luka revealed to fans that he broke two important rules. “Took a selfie smoking a cigarette in 2019. Those are two of the main rules that I broke,” he wrote in response to a social media user on Twitter (X).

While Luka didn’t necessarily confirm if the ban was official or just an ongoing snub, he did make it clear: that one flick was all it took to get the cold shoulder from Anna Wintour’s team.

Though the moment may arguably have been iconic to the internet, but the Met? Not so much. Chile the Met sure runs a tight ship ain’t it?
