While social media users continue to chime in on a behind-the-scenes video of Doechii prepping for the Met Gala red carpet; the Grammy award-winning rapper officially speaks out!
In a clip shared across TikTok captioned, “Doechii yelling at her assistant like a BRAT? Is she okay?” The Florida native can seemingly be heard repeatedly shouting at her team to cover her up with more umbrellas so photographers don’t get a snap of her look before she hits the red carpet.
“Get me another umbrella, NOW!” shouted the self proclaimed Swamp Princess from behind a four sided rolling board .
The video clip instantly began to trend online with social media users labeling Doechii rude and meanwhile also insisting, “the fame went to her head.” However, a surplus of folks stood up for the 26-year-old by saying she wasn’t aggressive at all just stern.
In response, Doechii addressed the online chitter-chatter on TikTok in a video labeled, “God forbid a girl needs more umbrellas.” The anxiety singer jokingly walked backwards with her hands up as the song ‘Easy as Sunday Morning’ played in the background.
Former City Girl group member, JT took to Doechii comments in support to write, “That was anxietyyyyyyyy🖤 Big night! Your debut! Getty was there, I get it! You ate! 🌂🩷”
