Sherri Shepherd And Nia Long Reportedly Have Heated Exchange While Attending ‘Othello’ On Broadway!

Sherri Shepherd is speaking on a heated exchange she had while attending the opening night of the highly anticipated Broadway opening of ‘Othello’

While speaking among viewers on Monday (March 24) of ‘The Sherri Shepherd Show, The talk show host recalled what went down between her and an individual she referred to as an ‘unnamed celebrity’. Sherri says while she was in the lobby area of the venue greeting fellow celebrities on Sunday (March 23rd), she was forcefully turned around by her arm.

Sherri says that the ‘unnamed celebrity’ confronted her by saying “You’ve been shading me a lot .” She explained that she and the individual had known one another for quite some time and that she was confused by the interaction because she hadn’t said anything negative about her.

Sherri adds that despite denying the issued accusations, the individual responded “Yes, you have!”

The 57 year old expressed that the brief incident rubbed her the wrong way and that she was left extremely upset. “I went to the bathroom during the intermission and I waited there for 15 minutes waiting for a meeting in the ladies room,” she said.

“You don’t get to grab me and turn me around like we’re in a daggum cartoon and just walk away.”

Sherri indicated hat she believes that the “unnamed celebrity” mistook her for someone else

Though Sherri didn’t mention any names, a source close to the incident tells Page Six that the unnamed celebrity is Nia Long.

As word of the incident continues to spread across social media Nia has yet to address the heated ordeal.

Despite the series of events, celebrities showed up and showed out for opening night of ‘Othello’ starring Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal. Among attendees were Samuel L. Jackson, Zoe Kravitz, DeVale and Khadden Ellis, Jennifer Lopez, Joe and Jill Biden, Colman Domingo, Tamron Hall, Sunny Hostin, Keegan Michael Key, Spike Lee and more.
