Former Love and Hip Hop Hollywood cast member Miss Nikki Baby has recently shared the news that her boyfriend LiAngelo Ball allegedly walked out on her and their two children after nearly four years of dating.
In a post to Instagram early Saturday morning (February 8th) Nikki accused the former NBA player turned rapper of infidelity and walking out on their family without notice.
“I see everyone has been sending me @gelo cheating on me. I want to clear this up and speak my truth. I am just as surprised as you are. We spent 3 1/2 years together, and last week he decided to walk out on his kids and me and tell me he got someone else pregnant (allegedly) and now is creating a new life with her. We were just happy and planning family photos.”
She continued,”—I am beyond blind-sighted by this whole thing. The ultimate betrayal is not even the word.”
“My daughter is not even 2 months old, and dealing with this and postpartum is very hard. Please pray for me & my healing because I will get through this. I have to be strong for my kids, but I have absolutely no words. Karma is real, and God don’t like ugly. I hope it was worth losing his family.”
As Nikki’s heartbreaking statement began to make its rounds online, she followed up with series of posts to her Instagram story directed at Ball and his new girlfriend.
The former couple share a 1-year-old son named LaVelo Anthony Ball, born July 19th, 2023, and a newborn daughter LaNiyah Nicole Ball born December 3rd, 2024.
“The same way you get them is how you lose them, thinking you winning by getting pregnant with a man who has a newborn is crazy work.”
“Also in terms of age, to clarify..The girl he left his family for is older than me.”
Nikki went on to declare that her feelings are toward Ball not the woman he had been carrying out an affair with.
“My issues about my family and children are with my baby daddy. I’m not addressing no side b*tch. Anyways back to my KIDS. That’s all that matters. I’m done giving this sh*t my attention.”
The woman at the center of all this drama identified as Rashida Nicole took social media hours later in her Instagram stories addressing claims that she is a home wrecker following news of his split from Nikki.
Rashida explained how she is upset with folks online choosing to “women shame” her and call her out of her name. She states that the issues between Nikki and Ball have nothing to do with her and that just because everything isn’t updated to the public it is okay for people to move on.
“I wasn’t even going to address this, but I’m tired of people playing victim on the internet. People move on, things change. It may not be addressed to the internet because [it’s] not for y’all.”
Despite the short-lived back and forth between Nikki and Rashida, Ball has yet to address the situation publicly.
