Cousins, popular influencer Jayda Cheaves is standing on her recent comments regarding dealing with men who make less money than her despite being dragged on social media!
While appearing on the ‘Million Dollaz Worth Of Game’ podcast alongside her longtime best friend Dess Dior, Jayda was asked about how finances affect relationships.
The ladies were asked the hypothetical question of whether they would ever deal with dudes who make less money than them.
Jayda swiftly confirmed that she wouldn’t date someone who made less than her. “Dating somebody that doesn’t have more they gone try to make you feel less than as a woman. That’s how I feel genuinely…”
“If I’m gone be in a relationship I’d rather it be with somebody that can benefit me rather than somebody that’s taking away from what I got going on. ‘Cause these men that don’t have the financial status that you have, they are going to try to just make you feel like you’re not ‘her.”
Dess added, “As a man, I feel like you just should have more than me.”
Jayda has been in a longtime on and off relationship with Atlanta rapper Lil Baby, together they share a son named Loyal. Dess has been linked to rapper Future in the past. The two are said to have dated from 2020 through 2022.
Following the ladies comments, social media users attempted to drag Jayda and Dess for suggesting that women shouldn’t date men that make less than them.
Without backing down from the negative comments thrown her way as a social media user said Jayda was going out sad the 26 year old stated, “I said exactly what I felt.”
She repeated, “I said exactly what I felt and the real boss b*tches get it.”
