Pastor Keion Addresses Viral Video Clip Of Him Hushing A Woman Screaming Loudly During His Sermon, “I Know The Difference Between Disturbance And Worship”

Cousins! After going viral over the weekend, Pastor Keion is setting the record straight as to why he had to tell a member of his church to “HUSH” in the name of Jesus!

Pastor Keion appeared on ‘The Tamron Hall Show’ alongside his wife Shaunie Henderson on Tuesday. While in conversation he was asked about the trending moment where a member of his congregation was heard loudly weeping as he attempted to conduct Sunday service.

Within the now widely circulated video clip, Pastor Keion can be seen approaching the woman as she sobbed uncontrollably while he was attempting to sing. He advised her to stop and then asked her to hush in the name of Jesus.

In response to the circulated clip, social media users criticized Pastor Keion’s approach while calling his actions rude and insensitive.

However Pastor Keion says that members of the Houston, Texas-based church are familiar with the woman’s antics and revealed that she screams loudly during Sunday service often.

“As a pastor, I know the difference between disturbance and worship,” said Pastor Keion to Tamron. “What people have to understand is that every time you hear a noise in church, it isn’t worship..there has to be order.”

Shaunie nodded in agreement with her husband as she shared that they are both familiar with the woman often showing out during service.

Despite social media users comments and extensive backlash, Pastor Keion says that he would hush the woman again in efforts of bringing order.

Fellow church attendees have also come forward regarding the shared video clip and have expressed that the unidentified woman screams loudly during service quite often.
