A Spirit Airlines employee has recently been both fired and suspended following accusations that he’s been stealing personal belongings from multiple passengers luggage!

Cush Karlson Joseph Vengeto, 25 was arrested on January 18th and brought up on charges issued against him by Broward County Deputies and Spirit Airlines, reports Black America Web. It has been stated that there were multiple complaints of, “theft of personal items from the interior of luggage which belonged to customers who flew on Spirit Airlines.”

Reports read that Joseph was shortly released after posting a $1,000 bond the following day. He has been charged with third degree felony theft of more than $750 and less than $5,000. His employment status is still suspension without pay.

Sources confirm that another employee is currently under investigation following accusations of theft. A representative from Spirit Airlines has come forward to state they have a zero tolerance policy for theft and that they are committed to completing a thorough investigation.

There has been no verification issued of what personal items have been stolen at this time.
