Cousins while fans continue to piece together clues and theories for Rihanna’s re-introduction to music, the proud mama of two shares that she is deep in mommy mode and head over heels for her little ones!
Earlier this month while in London on the red carpet for the launch event of her Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty sneakers collaboration; Rihanna was asked about the possibilities for her highly anticipated ninth album and when can fans expect it.
“I wanna know too,” Rihanna said to Entertainment Tonight.
She was asked if either of her sons RZA and Riot may have been born with the musical genes from her or their dad A$AP Rocky. “It’s up to them.”
Rihanna shared that she has some things up her sleeve and that both of her boys could be behind hits in the making.
“I already got stuff that I feel like I could make hits out of,” she said. “Me and Rocky are really trying to figure out who’s gonna use what because it’s so good.”
In a conversation with Interview magazine, Rihanna confirms that she does not have any songs in mind for her highly anticipated upcoming album. However, she has expressed that she has a lot of ideas for visuals.
“It’s weird. My brain is working backward right now. I usually have the music first, and the music leads me into all of these visual opportunities, and now I’m having all of these visuals.”
“Maybe the visual ideas are leading me to the songs that I need to make.”
On Friday, April 26th, while debuting some bomb honey blonde tresses at her launch event in Los Angeles of her new Fenty Beauty Soft’lit Foundation in L.A, Rihanna gave further insight to new music and what fans can expect.
“It’s gonna be amazing,” said the 36 year old.
“It has to be — that is the only reason it’s not out yet.”
She adds, “If I’m not feeling it and I am not feeling like it represents the evolution and the time I spent away, there should be a show of growth… I want to play with it and have fun with it and show truly where I am at.”
