Cousins! The Brooklyn District Attorney’s office has announced that they will not be prosecuting a subway rider who disarmed and shot a man onboard a train full of people this week!

“Yesterday’s shooting inside a crowded subway car was shocking and deeply upsetting,” said spokesman Oren Yaniv in an issued statement. “The investigation into this tragic incident is ongoing but, at this stage, evidence of self-defense precludes us from filing any criminal charges against the shooter.”

As we previously reported eyewitnesses informed officials that 36-year-old Dajuan Robinson, aggressively approached 32-year-old Younece Obuad shortly after he boarded the train alongside a female passenger. It has been stated that moments later the two men began to argue and things further escalated turning physical.

As the two men fought, the unnamed female traveler can be seen in a shared video on social media stabbing Dajun in his lower back. That’s when he then can be seen pulling out a firearm from his coat and walking towards Younece.

According to NBC News, investigators ultimately arrived at their decision upon reviewing cellphone footage.

Reports read that the female traveler has not been placed in police custody at this time and that officials are currently deciding if she should be prosecuted.
