Free Tampons, Menstrual Pads And Feminine Hygiene Products Now Required To Be Stocked In Men’s Restrooms In Canada!

Cousins! A Newly passed law in Canada now requires all federally regulated employers to stock free feminine hygiene products such as tampons, and menstrual pads in all bathrooms including men’s!

According to Fox News the new order approved by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau left-wing administration, regulates that menstrual products must be available in all toilet rooms regardless of their gender.

“This means that every female-identified, male-identified, and all-gender toilet room will need to have menstrual products,” reads a statement from Canada’s Employment and Social Development website.”Better protects menstruating employees and makes sure that they feel safe to use the toilet room that best reflects their gender.”

The issued policy is said to apply to all federal public service departments, crown corporations, banks, airports, and train yards, reads a statement from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC).

It has been stated that the required stocked-up products are not available to the public, only employees. Also, employers are required to provided a covered container for employees to dispose of their used menstrual products.

“A disposal container must be placed in each toilet room that has one toilet,” reads the policy on the government website. “In rooms with multiple toilets, a disposal container must be in each toilet stall.”

Sources state that the new policy went into effect last month on December 15th, though federally regulated employers had already begun stocking their bathrooms with free menstrual products days leading up to the official deadline.

The new order has been met with a series of comments online as social media users debate whether the new order should be considered fair.

“Back in the day, when only women menstruated, we had to pay for our own products,” Canadian conservative Senator Linda Frum. “But now that men menstruate too, these products, as of this week, are mandated to be free in all men’s washrooms in all federal workplaces, including Parliament Hill — where this photo was taken today.”
