Cousins, G Herbo has definitely lucked up in receiving no jail time after pleading guilty to various charges of wire fraud in a pending Federal case!
As we previously reported the Chicago Drill rapper was accused of a million dollar scheme surrounding the use of stolen credit card information used to fund a lavish lifestyle. From private jets, extravagant vacation villa stays, rented luxury cars, and designer puppies; Herbo and his crew are said to have racked up countless dollars within a series of wire fraud transactions.
Herbo has also been ordered to pay $140,000 that he reportedly agreed to forfeit.
Back in July 2023, the father of three pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud conspiracy and one count of making false statements to a member of the Massachusetts District Court.
In return, prosecutors cleared him on several counts of aggravated identity theft.
“On social media, Mr. Wright boasted an extravagant lifestyle. He gave the impression that his use of private jets, luxury cars and tropical villas were the legitimate fruits of his booming rap career as ‘G Herbo,’” said Acting United States Attorney Joshua Levy in a forwarded statement.
“However, his lavish lifestyle was shamelessly built on deceit and fraud using stolen account information that inflicted substantial harm on numerous businesses, leaving a wake of victims burdened with financial losses.”
