Cousins! A Houston, Texas pastor is currently behind bars following accusations that he raped a young family member of his over a hundred times in the last ten years!
According to reports from ABC 13 News, 39-year-old Robert L. Carter began raping the young girl when she was only 7 years old. Court documents obtained by the outlet detail he is being accused of performing sexual acts with the child and forcing her to perform oral sex on him.
An issued arrest warrant reads that the senior pastor had raped the young girl more than 600 times.
“She had been around this monster since she was about six years old,” says her father who has asked to remain nameless to protect his daughter’s identity.
“He’s (Carter) always been big to her. I had to realize that she had been fearful.”
It has been indicated that Robert had allegedly attempted to bribe the young child with candy for these sexual acts, which she repeatedly denied.
The victim says that she was sexually assaulted for years by Robert on numerous occasions, almost daily. She says that he would force himself on her while other family members in her grandmother’s home were sleeping.
Reports read, “when she turned 12, Carter started to rape her. She told investigators that Carter would stop at an H-E-B store on the way to school and sexually assault her in the back parking lot.”
Investigators state that the victim told them that Robert would take her to the church he worked at, Greater Bible Way Church located within the Sunnyside neighborhood, and rape her.
“She’s had an episode where she ended up in the hospital for psychiatric reasons,” says the victim’s father.
She says that when she was 16 years old Robert had gotten her pregnant and that he had dropped the baby off at a nearby fire station.
“What if she would’ve died that night? She had that baby in the closet, by herself. He came and got the baby and took the baby to a fire station and dropped the baby off,” says the young teen’s father.
Robert is currently being held at Harris County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
Reports read that the teen’s family is actively working to get her baby back, reports Click2Houston news.
