Cousins! A Texas man has been charged and arrested in connection to the tragic death of a cheerleading coach and mother to three small children!
According to PEOPLE, the body of Rosalin Lewis was discovered last weekend on November 18th. Authorities state that they had responded to a call from Myrtis Village apartments in Jasper around 4 a.m. Upon their arrival, they found the 24-year-old’s lifeless body. Her death was later determined as “blunt force trauma.”
23-year-old William Christian Thomas was taken into custody on charges of murder. He is currently being held on a $1 million dollar bail bond. It hasn’t been stated at this time if he’s entered a plea deal or obtained legal counsel.
A GoFundMe account has been created on Rosalin’s behalf to help cover funeral costs. The once aspiring veterinarian is survived by her three children ages 2,3 and 5.

Reports read that Rosalin worked as a cheer coach and also founded “Stunning Stars Cheer & Dance” in her senior year of high school alongside her mother, Schwanda Scott.
“Best known as “RoRo” or “Coach Ro” was taken away for her family from a malicious act of someone she trusted and once loved,” reads the fundraiser.
“Rosalin was a beloved daughter, niece, sister, granddaughter, goddaughter, cousin, best friend, Cheer Coach and a MOTHER of 3 beautiful children “Kaelum (5), Aria (3) & Alakai (2). “
“Rosalin’s impact was so amazing that every young girl she trained became a Cheerleader for Jasper High School,” Scott wrote. “Rosalin will truly be missed and her legacy will live on forever with the love and memories from her children, family, team, friends and the Jasper community.”
