Cousins! Quavo is making strides to reach new goals in life as he reveals his plans to enroll as a student at the University of Georgia sometime next year!
The 32-year-old revealed the big news in an interview with Vibe Magazine as he promoted his collaboration with Lids in honoring the University of Georgia’s Bulldogs.
“Next year, I’m going to enroll myself into University of Georgia, said Quavo.
As an Athens, Georgia native himself, Quavo explains that he has always represented the school’s colors and that he wants to become a bulldog himself.
“I was just honored and I felt like it was a blessing because growing up I always rocked the Atlanta hat,” he spoke of the partnership.
“When I was trying to rap, that was my favorite hat and that was like a staple. Kind of like how the New York Yankee hat is to New York. We love our Atlanta Braves hat.”
Though he hasn’t confirmed when exactly he will enroll into the institution, the Migos group member shares that he is excited to see everyone wear the hats.
“I want to see everybody at the University of Georgia have this hat. These hats are rare. This hat is a one-of-a-kind, and it’s done by me.”
Quavo and Lids have released two signature snapback hats paired with a limited edition back-to-back Playoff champion Bulldogs logo.
“I’m from Athens, you know what I’m saying? I love UGA to the fullest. I just want everybody to rep this hat and put it on their head, because we ain’t capping about our rap. We coming hard this year and we going three-peat.”
