Cousins! Congratulations are in order for the cast and crew of ‘BMF’ on Starz as they’ve officially been renewed for a third season!
This news comes just a couple of weeks after the fan favorite series season two premiere. According to the Hollywood Reporter , ‘BMF’ pulled in over 4.1 million viewers across all platforms and streaming services in the first episode alone.
“BMF captures the essence of Detroit through elevated, gritty storytelling and our fans have passionately responded to this show more than ever before,” says Kathryn Busby, president original programming at Starz in a forwarded statement.
“Following such a strong debut with season two, we’re thrilled to continue to expand on the incredible story of the Flenory brothers as they change the game by writing their own rules. We can’t wait to see what our extraordinary producers and cast deliver next.”

Series lead actor Demetrius Flenory Jr. also know as Lil Meech and Da’Vinchi took to their social media accounts to share the news as well.
BMF tells the Detroit based story of the legendary Flenory brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory. Taking place within the 80s era, the brothers utilized their surroundings, resources and overall influence to build one of the most dynamic organizations ever created under the name of Black Mafia Family.
The series stars Demetrius Flenory Jr, Da’Vinchi, Russell Hornsby and Michole Briana White.
