Cousins! Comedic legend Eddie Murphy ‘s viral Golden Globe acceptance speech where he poked a little fun at Will Smith has had folks deep in conversation over the last few days with artists such as Tyrese dropping his two cents about the importance of moving on!
While accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award at this year’s Golden Globes ceremony Eddie stated “I want to let you know that there is a definitive blueprint that you can follow to achieve success, prosperity, longevity and peace of mind. There’s a blueprint and I’ve followed it my whole career. It’s very simple.”
He continued “Just do these three things: Pay your taxes, mind your business and keep Will Smith’s wife’s name out your f**ing mouth!”
Following the official airing of the ‘Golden Globes’ and Eddie’s viral speech, Tyrese took to his own social media account with a post in both admiration and support of Will labeling him his biggest influence. “I’m still team Will Smith; there’s nobody on this earth that will ever influence me to ever have a change of heart towards the biggest influence in my life.“
He concluded in saying, “I’m just saying, man… Move on already.”
The Fast & Furious actor’s comments didn’t go unnoticed as Ray J soon entered the group chat advising Tyrese to mind his own business. Ray explains that Tyrese comments were boarder line disrespectful and that he’s not here for him coming for his mentor Eddie.
“You’re not on Eddie’s level!!! To think you can tell Axel Foley or Hakeem, the Prince of Zamunda to ‘move on already’,” wrote Ray.
“You better show some respect, Tyrese, before Will slaps you back into reality,”he continued.
